I thought you should know that McMurdo (MacTown, that’s what us cool locals call it) made it on an infamous list: Worst Cities to Work in IT: International Edition. I honestly don’t think it’s all that bad here. The building on that page happens to be right behind the building I work in and the guy who submitted the picture is only here for the winters. In fact, he’ll be arriving in a few days. I tried to take a summer picture to compare to the one on the website, but he must have used some sort of panoramic or fish-eye lens because I couldn’t get the whole building. Either way, here it is in the summer, a lot better (notice the flag in each picture, I got my picture during the 1 second that the wind wasn’t blowing today):
